GRADING
Student progress will be updated on the first day of each week in The Martocchio Student Update. In addition, report cards will be issued three times during the school year. Report Card grades will be determined by how well a student is meeting the grade level expectations at the time the report card is issued. You can find a sample report card here.
Academic subjects are graded on a four point system where 4 is the highest grade and 1 the lowest grade.
A grade of 4 means that the student demonstrated skills exceeding the expectation for that standard.
A grade of 3 means that the student demonstrated skills that met the expectation for that standard.
A grade of 2 means that the student demonstrated skills that are approaching the expectation for that standard.
A grade of 1 means that the student is beginning to progress towards the skills necessary for that standard.
